FAQ – Custom royal icing

To place an order or make an enquiry for a quote, please use the contact form.

To help me give you an accurate quote, please include as much information as you can such as:

-date it will be required, images for inspiration, quantity, where you are located so I can work out shipping costs and anything else that you feel can help with the quotation process

Bookings do fill fast. Generally, I would require at least 2-4 weeks  notice and sometimes have bookings locked in 3 – 4 months out. Note that it is rare that I have availability for last minute bookings for custom orders.

Please note that if you do contact me for a quote, these are valid for a week. A quote does not mean that your booking is confirmed. If you receive a quote, I would advise  that you book within the week as once this period has passed the date requested may not be available any longer. Payment of at least 50% of the order is required to secure the date after confirming that you would like to proceed.

Payment is due within 48 hours of the invoice being sent to you via email. Cookies are  not shipped until a full payment is received. Cookies are booked in on a first come, first paid basis.

There is a minimum order of a dozen (12) cookies per flavour

– CLICK AND COLLECT – I am based in St Kilda East (3183) so collection is available.

– AUSPOST EXPRESS – Delivery is also available nationally, and cost is determined by weight and location.

– THE TRAXI COURIER SERVICE – Same day courier can also be arranged within Melbourne at an additional cost and quoted based on distance from ST KILDA EAST (POA)

Please note that cookies are packaged with care, however, I do not take any responsibility for what happens to them when they leave the premises, and no refunds or exchanges will be given if damage occurs.

Flavours are either Vanilla, Lemon Zest, Choc Chip, Chocolate, Gingerbread and a Vanilla GF option

Standard sized cookies are approximately 8-9cm.

All of our cookies come in heat sealed bags. They will last at least up to 8 weeks if unopened. Once cookie packaging is opened, consume within 24 – 72 hours to ensure freshness!

Store cookies in a cool, dry place away from sunlight (like the pantry.) Please DO NOT place cookies in the fridge, as the condensation will ruin the icing. Cookies can be frozen if preferred. To freeze the cookies, place them in an airtight container.  Take the container out of the freezer 24 hours before you’ll be needing them, and place them on the bench.  DO NOT open the container until the cookies are completely thawed.  This is the most important step, opening the container may cause condensation and will ruin the cookie designs.

The studio is located in st Kilda East, Victoria. The exact location will be provided on the confirmation of your order

Yes, my kitchen is registered as a class 2 business with the City of Port Phillip

Cookies are different prices based on different factors (size, shape, if they need to be hand cut, how many colours, or complexity of designs etc). There is a minimum order of a dozen (12) cookies .
